Another fantastic show weekend at Harrison, AR. Show 1 under Judge Chip Kemp, Spot O’ Luck was Grand Overall Percentage Doe and Gunslinger was Grand Overall Buck. Show 2 under Judge Tom Dugas, Harmony Hill Musetta (Owned by Brett Snead) was Reserve Overall Percentage Doe and Gunslinger was Overall Grand Buck and Show 3 under Judge Mark Barry, Aphrodite was Reserve Overall Percentage and Gunslinger was Reserve Overall Buck.

We had a great first showing at the Southwest Missouri Meat Goat Production Sale.

Thank you to all those that were interested in our offerings, we had the top two selling goats! Thanks so much to the Snead family, Smith family, and Shallow Creek for their purchases. We are thrilled to have our kids in their hands and look forward to seeing them in the show ring!

Pictured above, Harmony Hill Spot O’ Luck, continues to be a great young doe for us with 3 Jr. Reserve Grands, 2 Jr. Grands, and a Reserve Overall Grand Champion in 4 shows.

Harmony Hill Legacy and her sister Harmony Hill Francisca are the last two does from 14 year-old Delta who retired this year. We love these two does and are excited to see how they perform both in the show ring and then in our breed program.  Pictured below is Harmony Hill Legacy.  You can see why we are so excited about this pair of young does.

Harmony Hill Spot O’ Luck, pictured above, won Jr. Grand Champion Percentage Doe at the Ozark Empire Fair and Jr. Reserve Grand Champion Percentage Doe at the Missouri State Fair.

Harmony Hill Gunslinger is pictured above after his first place win at the Ozark Empire Fair.  Gunslinger also placed 2nd out of a very competitive class of 38 at the Missouri State Fair.

Harmony Hill Samba, a late March 2011 Purebred, has been consistenly placing in the top third of large and competitive classes.  Watch for Samba in the Missouri Meat Goat Producers Sale on September 17 at 1:00 PM at the Ozark Empire Fair Grounds.  The online catalog will be available for viewing at www.boergoats.com.

Harmony Hill Aphrodite at the Sedalia Spring Spectacular 2011.

Harmony Hill Gunslinger has also had some great shows, taking first in large classes at both Chillicothe and Harrison, AR.  Both of these youngsters will be making their way to the ABGA Nationals in West Monroe, LA the first part of June.

We are so proud of these youngsters and thrilled with our first kid crop from 4M Farms Mugsy’s 9082.  We do have a few percentage doelings for sale by this super young buck.  Please contact us for more information.  More pictures to come.
